Awesome experience learning about the ins and outs of the biotech industry. My mentor and the other employees in the Ophthalmology department were very knowledgeable and willing to teach and help.
Cons
Not many cons at all.

Pros
Company was decent 5-10 years ago. Management was actually human, scientists cared about developing direct reports, teams worked together. Parties actually had enough food for everyone. You actually felt proud to be different from other pharma
Cons
When company started growing, it attracted all sorts of immature, competitive, egotistical sociopaths. The culture of collaboration is long gone: the only collaboration is ganging up together to belittle others. But usually, people in their own teams try to sabotage the other. The parties are a joke now. They remind me of underfunded college events: you wait in a long line for a cheap stuff animal & nothing left when its your turn. What makes it worse is there's people who think they deserve more than the other. One time on ice cream Thursday someone from middle management was complaining about waiting & too many "other" people waiting around the area. Bro, chill: you get paid enough & its free ice cream. Good people started leaving a while ago. Take a look around you: most employees have only been there for a year or 2. The ones who are left are desperate (ie me) or the jerk of the OG group.
