I have been working at Regent University full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

There are many dedicated and intelligent people working at Regent University.

Cons

A private, Christian school, the tuition is very high, but the salaries are very low. They often mistake positive criticism for criticism and even long-time faculty can be let go with no notice. Tenure is something renegotiated every few years. Too many major decisions are made "in a bubble." Cross-department communication could be better.

Advice to Management

Don't continue to cut yourself off from the past by firing beloved faculty members. That will only hurt future alumni donations.

Nice group of coworkers at the working level.
Growing institution with great possibilities for the future.

    Cons

Low salaries for such an expensive area to live in.
Lack of leadership ability at senior levels but Regent is slowly trying to bring in fresh faces.

    Advice to Management

Decide your strategy before implementing and strive to treat your employees better than secular companies in the future.

I have been working at Regent University full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great Benefits
    Beautiful Campus
    Quality leaders
I really enjoy the work environment, everyone is very friendly and fun to work with

    Cons

Parking can be an issue. The university is business and sometimes the push to get more customers can be challenging due to the rising costs of tuition.
