Pros

Good people with a very important product line that helps students do better in school. Very fair compensation program with achievable goals.

Cons

Benefits could be better, very conservative Midwest company, not much flash. Product is showing its age and needs an update.

Advice to Management

Be a little less conservative, let your hair down a bit!

I have been working at Renaissance Learning full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I have worked for Renaissance for nearly 16 years now and I have to say that it is one of the best companies I have ever worked for in my 34 years in employment. They really do believe in the mission and the recent changes that have been made means there is much more recognition for employees.

    Cons

I really don't think there are that many downsides.

    Advice to Management

Become less US centric and start thinking international

I worked at Renaissance Learning full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people working in the London office are lovely. They are very friendly, welcoming and happy to help newbies get full understanding on processes and the goal of the company. The hours of work were perfect: 8am-4pm, 8:30-4:30 or 9-5. Everybody gets their own desk and workspace and you are given responsibility over your own workload.

The managers make themselves known and are never to busy to assist.

    Cons

The pay was very low. Considering the location is in Canary Wharf you would expect good pay and benefits but this was not the case.

    Advice to Management

THink about your competitors and what salary/benefits your staff deserve.
