Pros

Management is receptive to change if you ask and reason for it. The team is talented. Core value winners are real and deserve their rewards. Projects that you are passionate about will get a chance if you are patient and prove yourself.

Cons

Some projects can be command and control based. Some people can be prima donnas. Some good people leave.

Advice to Management

Be transparent and accessible. Don't put much stock in deadlines.

I worked at Rent The Runway full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Cheap rentals. Great office location.

    Cons

Don't let the fake positive reviews or pictures fool you. This is a horrendous place to work.

The only people that move up in this company are the few favorites. Trust me, you don't get promoted based on your work.

You will come in early and work extremely late but you will not get overtime, you will not get a bonus, you will not even get a thank you.

Poor office moral. Most people look upset to be there.

Very high turnover rate. Higher than I have ever seen. The number of people that leave after 6 months is unbelievable.

Management sees this position as easily replaceable and does not care how much you've put into the company - your happiness and well-being are not important to them. All they want are numbers.

Overworked/underpaid warehouse employees in poor freezing/sweatshop (either one extreme or another, there is no in between) conditions. It's just awful.

Jenn & Jenny should use the funding to take care of their employees first and foremost.

RTR is an incredible concept and an amazing service but if customers could take a glimpse inside, they would never rent again.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to the concerns of your employees. They're the driving force of your business.
