Pros
Gaining experience from startup, a lot of opportunity for hands on both physically as well as documentation. You are expected to be well rounded, however this means doing a lot of other departments or managements jobs. I met a lot of great people which I am certainly grateful for. There are generally a lot of perks and benefits to working for Replimune, they are very open to flexible scheduling, but this usually means giving more than you're getting in return. Overall I was proud to be apart of the growth of a potentially helpful drug product.
Cons
The company outlook itself is not great, and you can see it in the employees mindsets. Turnover in certain groups were/are specifically high, but not in manufacturing. It was told word of mouth that layoffs were not being considered after the drug was pushed back for commercialization a year. It was a lie, the worst part about this company is upper management as well as management covering up lies. If you're not among the managers/directors favorites, your growth will be stunted greatly and you will essentially be used as a pawn for petty duties. The company has also turned much more cliquey from in comparison to when I began in 2020, and employees pick and choose what they want to help with/be apart. Systems in place at this company are never considered when something goes wrong, it's always about pointing blame to specific operators. After working at a different company, I see just how many things were not run properly or over complicated at Replimune.
