Pros

-The organization is small and does not have much corporate governance.
-Work with a small initimate staff who looks out for the team's interest.
-Management is failry understandable when scheduling.

Cons

-VP and Executives do not have an actual idea of what goes on in the operation.
-Praise and recognition is not routinely given.
-Most properties are small, which make earning potential very limited.

Advice to Management

I would recommend that the upper management team provide more attainable recognition opportunities and bonuses.
-Survey the staff in the opertation before implementing new policies.

I have been working at Resource Residential full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Executives truly attempt to do what is right for the employee and customer. Absorbed 100% of the medical benefit cost increase in 2016 and consistently try to find ways to improve engagement and provide career advancement opportunities.

    Cons

Parent company and budget restrictions sometimes causes delays and frustrations, but that is with most companies and is unavoidable.

I worked at Resource Residential as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Casual work environment (both a pro and a con), good work/life balance, bagels on Fridays, leftover food from bigwig conference meetings, merger wih another company led to some justified layoffs of people who weren't doing their jobs and were contributing the bare-minimum

    Cons

Work quickly turns monotonous; you're literally doing the same thing everyday. No clear advancement positions in place. Simply put, it's a basic job great for someone fresh out of school, not for someone who wants challenging work.

    Advice to Management

Create more hands-on work opportunities where more can be done than just sitting and answering the phones the whole day. It's archaic.
