Pros
There are no positive words for this deceptive program
Cons
There website is all about improving the lives of their clients. However, that's not true based on my experience working with them for 4 years. They do not hire qualified staff to work in mental health. They do not provide community support or introduction to the community. They absolutely will not provide any rides to doctors, grocery stores or to any community services that would equip people with the tools in preparation for independence. They claim to provide housing transition. That's false. However, they did require that I submit proof of applying to at least 2 apartments per month, using my own money to pay for the application fees. Even though these lower incoming housing places had 2 to 7 year waiting lists. I requested that the put this requirement in writing and they refused. Several of my friends in this program ended up in hospitals because they neglected to check in on their clients. They also required that we sign documents, without any written pages to indicate what was being signed and back date them 8 months in the past because they had not submitted required documents for their clients care. This is fraud. The list goes on and on. Find an agency that will actually be honest. My last case manager was a pizza driver and Rhd would not train him to properly understand the role of working in mental health. Outrageous
