I have been working at Reynolds American full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Benefits are good, pay is good, office is beautiful, co-workers at my level are great.

    Cons

Since 2007 this company has gone downhill since RJRT has come thru the doors. The transition of duties and jobs to RJRT in North Carolina have left many people that made this company what it is today without jobs. It is all about the all mighty dollar and trying to bring Marlboro down. There is a tremendous amount of favoritism, and if you are in the right crowd, you will do nothing wrong, get good raises, take long lunches, and basically come and go as you please on work hours.

    Advice to Management

Lead by example, take a look at yourselves before judging other people. Get to know your team and make discussions based on facts instead of hear say. ELT- step up to the plate and quit sugar coating everything. When is the next severance package going to be offered? I will be taking it.

I have been working at Reynolds American full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Company Vehicle w/ fuel
3 weeks vacation from the start

    Cons

    Software tracking in real time
High political games - promotions are rare and based on whether the management teams likes you, not on individual contribution/merit.

    Advice to Management

Change the corporate structure for more entry level management.
