Horrible manager--treats people like with no respect. Never has anything positive to say and does not mentor or coach at all. This manager has a bad reputation of destroying careers.

Advice to Management

poll managers and trade marketing reps on how division manager treats people

    Pros

    If you are mobile and willing to relocate, the moving package is generous enough so you pocket some big cash.

    Cons

    The infiltration of RJRT employees into Santa Fe has negatively impacted the spirit of this company.

    Advice to Management

    Diversity? It is true what someone else said here in another post: if you are a female, you will hit a ceiling at entry level management.

    Pros

    -great benefits package
    -Pay is ok for your first career opportunity
    -paid vacation and time off
    -company car/gas card
    -ompany CPU
    -cell phone allowance
    -home internet allowance
    -fortune 500 company
    -experienced co-workers are very educated about company (most of them smoke a great deal though)
    -overnight travel occasionally (average 1-2 times a month)

    Cons

    -long after work hours (i.e.. administrative duties on top of a 8-10/hr day in the field
    -some territory are too big and cover areas where there is absolutely nothing...(do not accept postions where you don't want to be...they will offer another position minutes later) location location location
    -senior mgmt only promotes the good ole boys
    -for your salary the work load may not be worth it...
    -mgmt will fault you for there mistakes in communication
    -make sure you are content with working for a controversial company!

    Advice to Management

    decrease work load
    offer better compensation since ASC was purchased...come on the work load has doubled for same salary!
    offer better training
