Pros

Young staff with some very talented technical personnel.

Cons

-Management is visceral and all over the place, they have a bad habit of abruptly changing direction and finger pointing when things go wrong.

-Deflection of responsibility is an art form for some of the people here.

Advice to Management

-Try being more conservative with staffing methodologies to prevent burnout.

-Cycle personnel in and out of different disciplines to encourage diversified skills.

-Respect is free, don't treat it like a commodity that is in short supply.

    Pros

People are amazing, customers a lot of fun, work ethic impeccable, products are robust, pace is non-stop. Shared respect between engineers, project managers, executives is like no other place I've worked. Very transparent management and sales processes. Numbers are shared weekly, questions and challenges are welcomed and expected from all roles. Each week is a catered all-hands with presenters from inside and outside the company. Obsession with customer satisfaction. Definitely a fun place to work.

    Cons

It's a lot of work. Sometimes too much work. Staffing the right people is also tough. Very picky about hires, which obviously is the right thing ... but means more work until a role is filled. Don't work here if you're looking for a 9-5. On the upside, it's one of the few companies to get rid of antiquated sick/vacation time tracking and accrual system and give personal accountability to individuals instead.

    Advice to Management

Dedicated time for collaborating on personal interest projects would be beneficial to all, and would make products even better.

    Pros

People are smart and friendly at lower ranks
Lots of internal jokes so people take things in strides

    Cons

Unhappy, burnt out people. No work-life balance there. Lots of emphasis on marketing and fluff but no real structure to service. Rather than focus on creativity, the focus seems to be "improve the overall image of the company" which shouldn't be the solution.

    Advice to Management

Focus on problems, not on cover up
