I have been working at Ricoh Americas Corporation full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Free coffee and water, friendly coworkers, flexible hours, free employee training.

Cons

Dirty carpet, smelly bathrooms, mice, crickets, and cockroaches, too much bug spray, too much requited employee training.

Advice to Management

Keep the employees you spent so much on training. Train them to do something else if the position gets eliminated.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Ricoh Americas Corporation full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It's a paycheck. They have accounts all over the city so getting a job close to home is possible.

    Cons

Your skills and talents are unappreciated by management and your coworkers. You receive no training or support from your manager. When they want to get rid of you they fabricate "complaints" from "the client" and use that as the basis for terminating you. They are also trying to change their image and they make you watch endless videos about the "New Ricoh".

    Advice to Management

Figure out who you want your company to be and stop with the changes. Pay more attention to your employees because they are your most valuable asset.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Ricoh Americas Corporation full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Monday through Friday schedule with holidays and weekends off.

    Cons

Unprofessional training and atmosphere, accounts receivable reps are very UNDERPAID. You start out with $12 an hr unless you have family in management who works there, then you may get an extra .50cents starting out! A lot of favoritism at this company and management expects you to be able to do EVERYTHING in an 8hr workday. Plenty of micromanagement and room for advancement but who would want to with this company is the question????

    Advice to Management

You should really get some new training material and ideas and TRAINERS. I have been with the company 8 months now and still have no clue on how to do my job. Stop looking at everyone as just a NUMBER and realize we are human beings without magical powers to fix your companys screwed up work!
