Pros

Good industries, good employees which presents interesting and gratifying work.

Cons

Management is overly analytical and not people-oriented. This makes decisions come slowly and without the critical component of individual strengths and possibilities baked in.

Advice to Management

People are not things. Treat them as such. It will help your business strength and loyalty.

    Pros

Relatively flexible middle management, willing to work with odd schedules. Most of the middle management seemed to actually care about you as a person.

    Cons

Very little accountability for anyone, unless an important customer complains to someone high enough in the company. Fail a Q/A audit? No one cares. Get caught doing something without proper approvals? Meh.

    Pros

Accessing all your information is made easy for you
You do get vacation and sick time

    Cons

Having your request for time off approved takes an act of Congress.
Supervisors who care less about anything involving you, only about things that matters to them.
Forcing employees to try and sell more services to the clients.
All those unnecessary training classes on how to push more services on the client.

    Advice to Management

Stop putting your employees in bad positions with the clients by trying to get them to push more of your services on them. That's what your sales team is for. The employee pushes the service, but the sales team comes in and makes the sale and gets all credit.
The training classes and the over abundance of conference calls to talk about absolutely nothing needs to stop. The employee is forced to call into these calls because if they don't they get in trouble. just to hear managers talk about what the company has done and what not. This also puts the employee in a bad spot with the client, who by the way is paying for that employee to be working at that time.
Oh, and on these conference calls, the managers keep talking about how GREAT the company is, yadda yadda yadda, they don't even believe it. The employees who are actually working at the jobs could really care less, so stop wasting everyone's time with the propaganda.
