Pros

The Work life Balance is reasonable
They provide snacks to keep you entertained when you are bored to death with the work you have. Which is basically all the time.

Cons

Terrible management that constantly lie and backstab employees. They show little respect and its all about the bottom line
No professional development or long term growth
No real promotion opportunities. Constantly fighting to get your voice heard. Have to be in close with senior management (ie, work as a slave) to have any possibility of moving up.

Wouldn't recommend this place as a place to work at all. Are far better companies in the same sector to work for.

Advice to Management

Listen, respect and reward your employees who often do a great job with very little guidance or help from senior management.

    Pros

The work place is really well situated in Paris and offices are amazing!
The Parisian team is fabulous and all of them are very smart.
It is a very nice place to work for getting some financial knowledge and improve technical skills in multiple technologies.

    Cons

It could be a bit challenging to understand the business at the beginning but the staff is really helpful and available for explaining it.

"Horrible, demotivating, cliquey place to work"

I worked at Rimes Technologies full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good office location. Not even good office itself, just the location was very convenient and central.

There are some incredible, smart people here but very few.

    Cons

The management is the underlying issue with this company (going all the way up to the CEO). Most people are in senior positions just because they have been here for many years, not because they know how to manage people or have any solid experience or training in that area. This place seems to miss the point that if you have a bad manager who has no leadership skills, no empathy, no charisma, no incentive, and one that does not lead by example but rather thinks that sending long winded emails and micromanaging a team of experienced and responsible adults is the way to manage effectively, you will end up with many demotivated and disgruntled people.

There are no attempts made at motivating the employees. Laziness is awarded and if you are 'in' with the right clique (of which there are many) and skilled at avoiding work or pushing your responsibilities onto others while at the same time giving the impression of being busy and making sure you swoop in to take credit for something you don't deserve, then you'll do well here.

If you are a hard worker, you will be pushed and pushed and expected to carry the weight of your work-shy colleagues.

This is such an unfriendly company! There are cliques on every corner and you always feel on edge here. There is rarely a good atmosphere in the office.

I would advise anyone against working there. In my time at the company I did not once come across ANYONE apart from the 'well set up managers who should not be managers' (or ones who are good mates with those managers and thus have a good set-up themselves) who would have anything positive to say about the place when asked about 'why do you like working here'?

Depending on which department you are in, the money will be considered either ok or fairly good. But the general approach is that the workhorses who carry the place very often do not reap the rewards... It will be the management raking in the big ££s because 'if it weren't for them, you would not know how to do your job, right?'... How is that for motivation?

And if Work life balance is what you are after, you are more likely to come across the Holy Grail while walking over the rainbow to pick up a pot of gold than achieve work life balance, enjoy your work and coming into the office at this place.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of vast majority of your management or at the very least invest in some food, solid management course that they all need to attend!

CEO lead by example and a) instil some culture and positivity here and b) start showing ALL employees they are valued!
