I worked at Rite Aid part-time (More than a year)

Pros

the people are very great and have good hearts

Cons

i think management needs to be more active when it comes to employees who are disrespective towards other co-workers and the people who shop and pick up perscriptions

Advice to Management

should not always penolize the good workers just because of a few bad apples

Current Employee - Store Manager in Los Angeles, CA

I have been working at Rite Aid full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I have met some good associates in stores that genuinely care about the company and its well being.

    Cons

-Unfair politics with certain dm's... I have worked for a total of 6 during my tenure.
-Getting up to field management from store manager position is a tough route to take because corporate keeps bringing in candidates from the outside.
-Work / life balance is not great if you're shooting to become a DM through the store manager's career path because.
-Company is #3 in the drug store industry

    Advice to Management

Payroll dollars should be an absolute dollar amount per week not one that a new DM can flex over to his favorites as he pleases.
