Pros

Great opportunities for customers to save with the Wellness plus card.

Cons

Does not get out in the community enough to share the benefits with those who can use it most

Advice to Management

Talk to the people in your community and teach them about your stores and some of the benefits of using Rite Aid over other places.

I worked at Rite Aid part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

this is a good job for young adults/teens to earn some extra cash.
most of the customers were very pleasant.

    Cons

start the shift at 7:30 am - 1:00 with no rest breaks. periods of long standing with no breaks. The managers would buy their breakfast and take a rest break but did not care about giving cahiers one(. I dont expect to be paid to take a rest break.)..management and coworkers do not take the time to train you on the register. They put you on the register alone to figure it out, plus the shift manager always seemed mad if she was called. The shift manager I worked with was always miserable. they go through cashiers at the rite aid in harrington. that should of been a sign for me before applying.

    Advice to Management

if the manager was there more with the shift manager he would see how ignorant she is to coworkers and customers.

I have been working at Rite Aid full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The pharmacy staff was excellent. The pharmacists were super nice and easy to get along with. The sales people were very nice as well.

    Cons

The pay is not very good and advancement within the company is not the best. District management is very unfriendly and difficult to get a long with.
