I have been working at Rite Aid full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Good Company to work for!! Great Benefits, Great Management, Great teamwork!

Cons

Overwhelming work!! with less help, so you must know how to really multi-task, ex: answer phone and fill at the same time, or cash out patients and at the same time bagging other patients medications and putting them away, the job can be very stressful, and i feel like i should be getting paid more!

Advice to Management

Need more help in the busy stores, such as an pharmacy cashier or and extra technician and better pay!

I have been working at Rite Aid full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Okay if you work in a good district with a good store manager.

    Cons

Terrible if you work for bad store managers and bad district managers. The district manager here is clueless and on a power trip. We are not given the hours to get our jobs done but are yelled at for not completing tasks. Regular store associates are wonderful people (cashiers/ shifts), but store managers are just as clueless as district managers. Loss prevention is lax. You constantly feel behind or like you're cleaning up someone else's mess. I've worked in multiple stores in this district with multiple managers and only encountered two competent assistants and one competent store manager.

    Advice to Management

You need to scrutinize your district and store managers for results and competent leadership. Acting like a big shot does not equal results. Neglecting the need of your managers affects daily business. Demanding results without giving your stores the proper tools is why this company struggles against it's competition.
