    Cons

Belief your customers need you more than you need them

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Robert Bosch LLC full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Global presence, owned by a charitable foundation, vast resources and technical expertise.

    Cons

Bloated, top-heavy bureaucracy. Overwhelmingly complex and byzantine policies and procedures. Slow to innovated and bring new products to market. Risk averse to the point of paralysis. Most time spent implementing new initiatives, reorganizing, producing PowerPoint presentations, and sitting in a never ending series of internal meetings. Company is inwardly focused and fixated on serving top management. The CEO is treated like a God.

    Advice to Management

Reduce layers of management. Dump complex and stifling policies and procedures. Grant business units more freedom and autonomy. Dump SAP, it doesn't work. Be more nimble.
