I have been working at Robinson Pharma full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I had the opportunity to work alongside with some very intelligent individuals.

    Cons

The other reviewers hit the bull’s eye on the cons. Therefore, I’d like to focus on different aspects of the company that has not been mentioned. The dress code is a joke. Apparently, it is acceptable for women (especially over the age of 50) to be parading around in miniskirts without bras in the office. Although I applaud their bravery, the work force is not ready for such radical fashion—less is not more! In most companies, the merit of the employee is reflected in their status and compensation; at RPI, it’s entirely the opposite. RPI has classless and incompetent family members at the top who act as dead weights for the rest of the company to pull. I find it perplexing that more than half of the office employees do not speak proficient English (if any), and do not know how to use basic functions of Microsoft Office. Yes, hire people that can work, not people who are related to you. And oh the cameras, oh so many cameras. Yes, promote productivity in your employees by stalking them—that should do the trick. Speaking of promoting productivity, I’m assuming that’s why the internet and phones have restrictions on it. You can’t dial 911 in the office, God forbid we get help in times of emergency. Perhaps they want you to work and die there, and in that case, I find death almost welcoming. The life and work balance does not frustrate me as much as it amuses me. The family members do not know the boundaries of work life and personal life. The following is The Logic: you are an employee at RPI, you are paid by the company (that’s synonymous with being paid by the family). You must do their every bidding (i.e. babysit pets, hire construction folks for their home remodeling, grocery shop, etc.). By the Transitive Properties: you are an indentured servant.

    Advice to Management

Employee productivity is contingent on how happy they are; if you employees are unhappy they will not be productive. Thus, cease with the cameras and buy employees donuts once in a while. In the long run, it would actually save money. The company is trying to cut costs, isn't it? Another way to boost employee morale and consequently increase your earning potential is not to skimp on the wages of employees. We work more than 40 hours a week in general, must we be deducted for days that we’re couple minutes late?
