Pros

Unfortunately not any. Sad, Isn't it.

Cons

I am a former employee of Rochester Regional Health System and I have to say that does not make me sad for one second. The culture shift that happened after the merger (if you want to call it that) has been disgusting to watch. Unity Health may not have been the best or most highly regarded but we had a family and we treated each other with respect. Since the acquisition, RGH has taken over and the culture of the organization has suffered. People are leaving in droves and/or laid off. No one is happy. The goal, from a former employees perspective, is to eliminate the unity leadership and take over. Which they are very successful in doing thus far. It's just sad to watch. I am hoping patient care is not being affected by the lack of morale throughout the unity organization. It's not a fun place to work - and leaders don't seem to care much about your life, background or experience. It's all about which badge you hold.

Pros

Nice team members, clean facility

Cons

- Manager didn’t provide mentorship/training on things i didn’t understand. was basically left out to fail and his response was that his manager doesn’t tell him what to do for tasks. Two wrongs do not make it right. - Job described in job posting was not the job I was doing in day to day. - HR was not helpful when I asked for help on something - said one of the competencies was preferred not required but in actuality that competency was a major part of the job.
