Pros

Great benefits. Good education opportunities. Open door policy for all management and execs.

Cons

pay for non clincal is awful. No recognition for work well done. They keep reducing staff, adding work load and then wonder why everyone has a bad attitude when there's no pay adjustment. management tends to turn a blind eye to employees not pulling their weight. If you're not clinical, you're not valued.

Advice to Management

When you do employee surveys, seperate the clinical staff & management surveys from the rest of employees. A nurse or manager making the wages they do will always say they aren't motivated by wages. But anyone else, that can't live on their salary would probably tell you different. Also change the review process. If the work load increases, take that into consideration even if it's within the realm of the current duties. As people leave, and more work is put on current employees, a small compensation for the additional duties or work load would make people feel appreciated. Now they feel taken advantage of and disposable.
