    Disapproves of CEO

    I worked at Rodale full-time

    Pros

Nice offices, good content produced for books and magazines. Good vacation policy and workers are encouraged to be healthy.

    Cons

crazy politics and a management style of regularly sweeping out the top brass and leaving chaos in the vacuum. heads roll regularly. Innovators don't stay here.

    Advice to Management

    Find a real leader.

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

Open minded, respectful, and understanding fellow employees as well as a very agreeable management staff that allows one to realize that it is possible to do good old fashioned hard work and reap benefits that are personally and professionally greater in value than if you sat pushing paper in an office.

    Cons

There is sometimes confusion in the structure of responsibilities that sometimes leads to unachieved deadlines. However, this is an integral part to working with nature for it is also unpredictable.

    Advice to Management

Have a fully outlined plan for future endeavors before taking them on. Instead of starting a project running into trouble then modifying it so often that it ends up incomplete by the end of the season.
