I have been working at Rogers Communications full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Great Co-workers Alot of fun managers great discounts on rogers products, really good benefits

Cons

hard to move up in the company, get pigeon'd holed and stuck. alot of people fighting over the same posisitions. Hard to get a good shift even after 3.5 years not getting a very good shift, good if your single its hard if you have a family to balance both

Advice to Management

Need to give everyone a chance, even high performing agents dont get many oppertunities

    Pros

    Good place to learn about subject matter and corporate culture. Good benefits.

    Cons

    Lack of advancement opportunity, discrimination towards bilingual staff in matters of advancement, overabundant use of "positioning", sacrifice of quality in favour of bottom line, Cheap and Fast in favor of Good. Degrading wireless infrastructure, badly trained 3rd party employees giving wrong information to customers. We've been told we must do more with less and charge customer for more, but doing less. Horrible vacation bid process prohibiting work/life balance.

    Advice to Management

    Return to the values we had before Ted died. Do what you say, don't "position" your way out of your obligations to the employee and the customer.
