I have been working at Rogers Communications full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Opportunity for growth all the time, as along as the individual is willing to look for it.

Cons

Can be challenging at times, work a little overtime here and there, but no worse than anywhere else I've been

Advice to Management

Be less conservative and take more risks.

    Approves of CEO

I worked at Rogers Communications full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great career advancement opportunities for those that are willing to put in the effort. Excellent training provided to employees. Good performance review program and performance management set up (for a call centre). In theory the quality and performance management is great... but not enough time for execution.

    Cons

You have to start at the bottom - the hours and customers can be difficult (but the end result can be great!). For a communication company they are surprisingly not great at communicating! Software could also be improved and made more intuitive. Quality program is okay and could use improving. Not ever enough time for effective coaching...

  2. "I worked for a dealer, and unless you're in a busy store the commission is very low."

I have been working at Rogers Communications full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Great people
    Good opportunities
    Good management depending which location

    Cons

Like the title says, if you are not at a mall location with heavy traffic your commission will be very low.

    Advice to Management

    Pay a higher base wage.
