Pros

There are none. This is a horrible company with terrible HR practices. This company recently laid off high senority salary employees simply because one Director of Global Operations didn't like the people. The Director of Global Operations had a very poor performance record and directly mishandled two Rogers ventures that ended in complete failire

Cons

The company has no vision, hires enablers to get the work done, but then sacrifices true talent to keep dead weight around the company. This company is doomed to failure if they do not get a vision and get rid of most of the Directors and VP's.

Advice to Management

Quit! find something else to screw up. The are not engaged at all in the day to day operations.

    I worked at Rogers Corporation full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    The remuneration package is good and you do get exposure to the international aspect of the business. Typically the local people who have been there for a while, are very capable in what they're doing

    Cons

    All the decision power had been withdrawn from the regions and now goes to a (very) small group of executives in the USA. The annual employee engagement survey is a big cover up because everything that goes wrong is always blamed on the local management. They do have entegrity , trust and ethical behaviour as guidelines the the upper management doesn't walk the talk.

    Advice to Management

    Start to listen to your employees and genuinely accept their comments instead of tossing them aside. Show the people that you live according your own guidelines.

    Pros

    Good experience on Lean, six sigma and shainin
    I am still working in Rogers, my last working day in here is 12/30, and my first working day in the new company will be in 1/3.

    Cons

    Too much paper work
    not focus on production Gemba

    Need more fresh experience
