Pros

The mission at Roosevelt always has the potential to change the world and already has. The benefits are top notch, especially the 12% [of your salary] retirement benefit and 100% tuition reimbursement for you and your dependents.

Cons

Decisions seem to be made without looking at the big picture. Basic student services such as registration and financial aid have suffered as a result of elimination of support positions.

Advice to Management

Slow down. Think before you act. Change for the sake of change is counterproductive. Management needs to listen to the needs of their student body first.

    Pros

Roosevelt University has made tremendous progress over the past decade. It is investing over $100 million in a brand new building to improve the learning experience for it's students. The university has focused on hiring only the best faculty from very prestigous programs.

    Cons

Some employees who are resistant to change are uncomfortable with the dramatic rate of improvements and the increased job responsibilities and expectations of performance.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great work

    Pros

Student worker part of the Federal Work Study program. Minimal work or experience needed. Nothing fulfilling. No motivation to try.

    Cons

No real opportunities for career advancement or development. No real incentive to try. The work was monotonous and boring, but it paid okay.

    Advice to Management

No real advice. The jobs are obviously temporary and as such are treated with minimal interest. Provide basic training and you will be fine.
