    I worked at Ross Stores full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    faced huge challenges with little or no support forcing you to be resourceful and develop skill set on your own.

    Cons

    Hawaii store manager managed by intimidation as did the Regional Manager. In the event of an accident, regional directed managers to call him 1st after any store accident. I was reprimanded for calling 911 when a customer who had fallen was unresponsive to me.

    Advice to Management

    Walk the talk of employee value and customer service. Hold managers accountable for how they direct treat employees. Evaluate merchandise processing time standards.
