I worked at Ross Stores full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

None, this company does their best to destroy the spirit of even the happiest and optimistic individual, trust me working there for 7 years Ive seen it happen many times.

Cons

This is a dead end job runned by natzis.

Advice to Management

Stop breathing down peoples necks and piling other lazy peoples work on hard workers. Also, stop letting your job get to your heads.

I worked at Ross Stores full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people that I hired were great and worked hard to meet the companies objectives.

    Cons

The workload and expectations were high, but were not equal for everyone. No respect from upper management. Horrible place if you are used to being respected.

    Advice to Management

Try practicing what you pretend to and actually respect the people who work for you.

    Pros

    Benefits if you're full time.
    Career advancement opportunities.
    Great upper management.
    Pay is sufficient.
Lots of experience to gain in retail in all aspects of management.

    Cons

Associates take advantage of Managers. Processes and programs change too often. Hard to move up past an Assistant Store Manager.

    Advice to Management

Keep communication consistent and fluid. Don't jump to conclusions without researching facts.
