I worked at Ross Stores part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nothing really, except if you like 15% off. besides that there is nothing that i can say about the company

    Cons

Stressful, understaffed. and boring. long hours, especially during christmas it was the worst working until midnight for $7.50. raises were once a year by a whopping $0.10

    Advice to Management

increase pay for dealing with all the bs

I have been working at Ross Stores full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    -Co-workers are usually great.
-20% discounts with double discounts 3-4 times a year.
-Easy job to perform as long as you aren't an idiot.
    -Good for experience

    Cons

-Company is cheap on everything, pay, raises, equipment, etc.
    -Customers can be very rude
-Expectations are ridiculous for the resources provided
-Ethics and policies are questionable at best

    Advice to Management

Show more care toward your employees, and actually mean it. If a customer sends a complaint, take in consideration that one million other customers which have been provided great customer service aren't going to call and say how wonderful their experience was. Put more thought and effort into logistics. Bigger/more frequent raises, employ more people. Reinvent LP procedures and methods. Morale will go up, turnover and loss will go down.
