Pros

The store schedule runs like a clock due to the efforts of the very dedicated GM. She is on top of every single thing in that store and she works harder than anyone I have seen in a long time. She rarely asks her employees to do anything that she doesn't do herself. She expects perfection. Other things: great employee discount of 20% which they double 3x per year.

Cons

Militaristic atmosphere where you are timed on everything you do , given a rigid set of rules and behaviors with zero room for creative input while being asked to also constantly play store police. There is also having to integrate into a culture that is 2/3 non-English speaking. The company uses 11 different types of security devices which makes the checkout and return process very labor intensive. I also am surprised there is no way to access our 2 week schedule electronically offsite. Hard enough to plan working retail without being able to access a full 2 week schedule on top of things.
