I worked at Roush Industries full-time (More than a year)

Pros

One of the most interesting places to work, if your into new or up coming automobiles. There are golf outings in the summer and a Christmas party that you'll talk about for years, who else ours Nascar's on the dance floor. Team orientated work with competitive pay and benefit packages.

Cons

I worked for this company in the late 90's.

I worked at Roush Industries full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    -Exposure to fun toys
-Minimum of oversight as long as you are getting your projects done
    -Great teamwork experience.

    Cons

-You may be told that your initial offer is low, but that you'll receive prompt, regular work evaluations and that these will lead to pay raises; Even when you earn the top possible rating, you will not get any financial compensation increase.
-Managers will ask you to work overtime "off the books". Working 60-70 hours per week while being paid for 40 was the norm.
    -Health benefits sucked.
-Most employees don't make it long enough to get vested in the retirement program (3 years)

    Advice to Management

Break up the Canadian Bloc in engineering. A majority of the engineering team leads all came from one notable University in Canada, and the preferential treatment of fellow alumni has been detrimental to the company at times.
