    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook

I worked at Rowan University full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

A local school close to home.

    Cons

    1) Leadership
    2) Forcing administrative/technical professionals to join a clerical union which limits upward mobility here.
    3) Less than optimal workforce moral
    4) Sadly, a dysfunctional us/them relationship between management and staff
    5) Goals and outcomes seem to come last, with loyalty being most important
    6) The lure of decent state benefits into a frustrating environment

    Advice to Management

Your employees are adults and want to do good work.
