I worked at Royal Bank of Scotland as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

A large international investment bank - cross border deals are exciting; Had very talented colleagues and teamwork was very collaborative. Very steep learning curve and a lot of challenging work.

    Cons

Lack of recources; The teams are top-heavy - too many senior bankers compared to analysts and associates; bad hours but not as bad as bulge bracket banks; Lots of miscommunication between international offices; hierachical structure

    Advice to Management

Recruit more analysts! also be more open and flat
