    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Very easy going atmosphere and the engineering staff is a great group of folks. Flexible hours and opportunity to work from home on a limited basis. Great benefits with average compensation. Location provides easy access to major roads and avoids most of the traffic congestion. Internal office space was large with plenty of windows and furnishings were great.

    Cons

Struggles with how to run a software organization. Disorganized priorities. Too dependent upon new customer business. Neglects existing customer needs. Too willing to cut corners. Unwillingness to listen to engineering experts. Treats employees as expendable. Micro manages without providing support. Below average salary compensation.

    Advice to Management

Reorganize the local management and listen to the employees more. Some of them have many years of experience and are very knowledgeable about the products and their customers. Work with the engineers to develop a strategy that will result in a superior product.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Plenty of work to catch up on.

    Cons

Procedures and policies were very poorly written and were not followed. Supervisor very wishy-washy on any decisions that needed to be made, many short cuts and work arounds were done on a daily basis. I was told on my 2nd day of work that everyone at that facility was looking for a new company to work for because they have been overworked for 3 years with deap layoffs with absolutely no pay raises in over 3 years.

    Advice to Management

When hiring someone for their knowledge and expertize listen to their suggestions instead of trying to shut them up, they might just be able to get the control in your configuration management group because there is none now.

    Jan 22, 2014 – Director, HR

The reference to no pay raises in over 3 years is absolutely false. Within the last 14 years, there are only 2 years where no pay raises were given, due to economic conditions. All other years pay... More
