I have been working at Ruiz Foods full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Same schedule pay is ok vacation good insurance is great as far as regular Drs visits but not dental or eye

    Cons

If the management wants its employees to be able to perform the job duties required by team members then management should be able to preform the same job duties without having to be shown how to do the job duties for once you need to take and actually listen to the employees who make your paycheck for you not just sit behind a desk for 8 to 12 hours a day

    Advice to Management

No one shift is more important than the other and no department is more important than the other either it starts from receiving to prebatch to bakery to production to packaging to maintenance and sanitation QA to shipping. Every department is just as equal as the rest stop treating each shift each department so different everyone should be on the same page no employee is above the next so stop micromanaging one shift more than the other espically if you have no clue as to what really goes on quit depending on just the word of certain coworkers who do not even work that shift. Get rid of the good buddy system that is and has been going on in this place for over 10+ years and actually get some people in charge who actually know how to manage their own departments and who actually care and fight for their people on their shifts. Replace certain people and the plant would operate a lot smoother than it is now restructure certain upper management positions bring in a fresh set of eyes and see how that would work for the company as well
