Pros

family cares about the community, decent pay, good benefits, opportunity for lower level people to advance, the company has alot of potential for growth, somewhere I can make a difference, not too much bureacracy.

Cons

family owned, and the family does not make consistently good decisions, some are more interested in sales than profits, but this swings to extremes sometimes. They don't always listen to the field. Turnover - if not the young CEO's way, it's the highway.

Advice to Management

Listen to the smart people who were hired to help you. Two senior managers have left, and that is a tragedy. You can't do it all yourself, or with homegrown people. You need to outside experience to take the company to the next level. (Bryce Ruiz is CEO, not his father Fred, who is retired)
