I have been working at Ryan Partnership full-time

Pros

Great people. At every level, we've got great brains here. Respectful, creative, mainly empowered work atmosphere. Good clients for the most part. Plenty of opportunity for personal career building.

Cons

- Poor health coverage.
- All the frustrations of client service work, with a fair share of difficult clients.
- Changing trends and priorities.
- Occasional layoffs and changes of management/ownership.

Advice to Management

Parent company: you are huge enough and profitable enough to give your employees decent health coverage. It's exciting to hear how well our umbrella company is doing, but dismally disheartening to see how little of that success trickles down to the cog-level employees.

I worked at Ryan Partnership full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

it is where fired Draft people can find new employment.

    Cons

Company was bought and merged with epsilon. Nothing is the same and clients are dropping like files as are the people who work there.
The management is grossly over paid boys club who use their entertainment budget to entertain each other. The only thing that is the same is the name on the door. The workers have no room to work and sit all together cramped at a table while the managers have nice big offices. The work has gotten very bad as well. This used to be a gem built by a great man and now it is a sinking ship.

    Advice to Management

    it won't last forever.

I worked at Ryan Partnership as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

People are smart, generally helpful, and there are a lot of snacks

    Cons

Work is not stimulating, older employees do not have current skills but remain in management and are as such incompetent leaders, environment is stuffy and noncollaborative, silent, cubicles do not encourage contact.

    Advice to Management

Direct marketing is going obsolete; your direct marketing employees will also if they don't expand their skill sets
