Disapproves of CEO

Pros

Good benefits, reasonably good pay, some interesting work, good job security (highly dependent on your business unit), many good lower level workers

Cons

The bureaucracy is often stifling and upper management is so risk averse (or lazy) that it's impossible to get any new, interesting work started.

Advice to Management

Allow employees to be more entrepreneurial. It may hurt the bottom line in the short term, but the company won't be able to grow forever if they can never be very creative.

    Pros

If you need a salary and a job they will provide. They are in some very interesting sectors of the military which can make your job very exciting.

    Cons

It is all based on contract services. If the contract runs out you will be left without a job. Make sure you are always secure becuase SAIC will not provide security.

    Advice to Management

Put something in place to let your workers know that if a contract runs out they will be protected for a certain amount of time.
