    I have been working at SAIC

    Pros

    Good technical staff, decent benefits package. And that's about it, really. If you are lucky enough to get on a good program with good management, you will think it is the best place you have ever worked. Otherwise, it's a muddle.

    Cons

    Wild variance in management competency. Can go from some of the best you will ever see to some of the worst - all within a single hallway. There are pockets of good people at SAIC, and pockets of good programs to work on. The real trick is combining both. Generally a place where retired military goes to farm another retirement package while earning a "civilian" paycheck.
