Pros

You are treated with respect and allowed a great deal of freedom. Admin is handled through the company website and is fairly efficient and painless. Lots of online training available.

Cons

You are on your own. Each office is almost 100% independant which is good when times are good but when things go south you get dropped in an instant. HR is almost totally useless when you are in a redeployment situtation.

Advice to Management

They are doing pretty well so I can't say too much.

    Pros

    Good Work - Life balance.

    Cons

Working at this location is basically like committing suicide, on a proffessional/carreer level. Management talent is laughable, and job descriptions and work expectations are almost non-existant. Promotion based upon seniority, not talent.

    Advice to Management

Communicate specific goals and then get out of the way of your employees, and let them excell at there jobs. Micro-management is for McDonald's not a professional environment. Reward the acheivers and let the non-acheivers fall by the wayside. Management feels the "appearance" of the location is more important than its "performance".

    Pros

At the time it was employee owned and the stock did very well. It was a good motivating factor to work hard to increase the upside potential.

    Cons

The facilities were not always the best and the location I worked at was far away from the group and executive management so to advance would have required moving.

    Advice to Management

At the time I worked there more communication from the senior management to our remote office would have been better.
