    Pros

    - To get a paycheck

    Cons

    - If you aren't in a leadership role or management you can count on being treated poorly.
    - You can't go to HR, they only care about the interests of the company and will only serve to make things worse for you.
    - No communication from leadership, constantly doing the same tasks over and over because people can't decide how they want something done.
    - Employees are treated very poorly.
    - Seems to be a culture of nasty language and a lack of professionalism.
    - Little to no ability to advance unless you know someone.
    - Unless you are mid or upper level, pay raises are close to non-existent.
    - Constantly have to worry about your peers stepping on you because they are as fearful of keeping their positions as you are of keeping yours.
    - The benefits continue to grow smaller and smaller, especially when you take into account the lack of proper raises.

    Advice to Management

You need more than leadership courses, the entire culture of the company, at least in the Charleston area needs to be rebuilt. This company needs better EEO resources, there is really no forum for properly airing your grievances or trying to take care of yourself if you feel you are being treated unfairly. The Charleston branch of SAIC is very fortunate that the economy is in such despair, I don't know anyone on my level that is happy with SAIC or has a high morale in their work.
