Disapproves of CEO

I worked at SAIC full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

In the beginning the company was employee owned. Nothing positive to say now.

Cons

Recently split off and is currently going through rounds of mass layoffs. Everyone is trying to save their own jobs, so unless you're one of the decision makers you're likely to next on the list. Even if you have coverage on a contract. They are trying to get cheaper workers on their contracts.

Advice to Management

Go back to caring for your employees.

I worked at SAIC full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Amazing Team and very talented designers. The subject of the work was exciting and i always felt like i was contributing to improving our nation

    Cons

Far to many levels of upper management that keep cutting the worker force and adding more levels of management and new processes. A new CEO every couple years means lots of changes and always wondering what tomorrow would bring.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your team - they do the job day in and day out and understand the core processes for success more than a new upper manager that has just been handed a new fancy title.
