    Pros

Large company, with large contracts that can be steady if your in the right role.

    Cons

The entire structure is based on lying to the customer to increase revenues which puts stress on the staff to over work morning to night in order to make the commitment of the service managers who are conniving just to stay alive on contracts. The politics is heavy here and the managers don't know how to lead....they connive to ensure they stay alive and use the staff as pawns in a game with the clients who may or may not be receiving good service. SAIC is the low cost vendor and does not staff contracts....they leverage resources from every other contract with the promise of career growth. Your lucky to keep a job here so you might as well be ready to work on multiple contracts. They will pay well but only for a limited time then you get let go for a leveraged resource. How to Survive at SAIC: 1. Employees better jump on the canoe and go downstream with whatever management asks else you will be shoved into the marsh where the alligators lie. 2. Employees shall connive their way to the top 3. Employees shall dig a pill box and sand bag to protect ones self - no nee to work as a team just get your part done then watch the sniper fire do the rest
