I have been working at SAP as an intern (Less than a year)

Pros

Many co-op students, several large company (all-hands) meetings that give you the opportunity to meet other people outside of your dpt. SAP looks great on your resume but I am not sure it is the place for F/T opportunities

Cons

many cliques within floors and departments, comp sci dpt looks down on sales

Advice to Management

Invest in mentoring younger employees or co-op students

I have been working at SAP as a contractor (More than 3 years)

    Pros

If you can get off contract there are lots of benefits to being a employee, including always having the newest technology and lots of travel.

    Cons

Its almost impossible to get off contract unless you are a quota carrier. Its very easy to get lost in the maze and the machine of SAP. There is no work-life balance, your life becomes quarter driven.

    Advice to Management

On boarding! Creating a cultre where vacation and having downtime is ok without feeling guilty. You can get brunt out under the pressure of performing quarter after quarter.
