Pros

The people in my office were terrific. Too bad mostly everyone was let go for various revenue related reasons.

Cons

As you may notice all the good reviews are recent and come from the corporate office in Boca Raton (HR stunt?). The regional offices struggle under poor management, backstabbing, and lies from upper management. I am sad because SBA really disappointed me.

Leadership consistently failed to prioritize employee well-being, while mid-level managers engaged in abusive behavior and violated HR policies and ethical standards. Rather than addressing these leadership and management issues by directly confronting and correcting the leadership involved, the company appeared more focused on protecting ineffective leadership and minimizing internal accountability. Human Resources often functioned as a mechanism to monitor and gather information on dissatisfied employees instead of serving as a supportive resource to help employees navigate widespread mismanagement, workplace concerns, and leadership abuse.
