Pros

SCS has not been effected by the economic downfall. SCS is rapidly expanding which makes the office environment exciting. At any level within the company, you can participate in strategic planning. There are plenty of opportunities to grow with this company.

Cons

Although it can be exciting to work for a growing company, there are many associated challenges. Lack of resources and personnel are a few challenges here.

Advice to Management

Emphasis of employee satisfaction should be prioritized. Many successful companies nowadays place emphasis on a well-rounded life for their employees. They offer great benefits, and perks, such as: off-site events, a nice office environment, childcare, team building, professional development, etc.

    Pros

    This company attracts people that are inspired, experienced, and smart. Most employees are over-qualified for their jobs and most work to improve the integrity of the company and the quality of its services. It is a great group of people!

    Cons

    There is a great deal of favoritism. Performance reviews are consistently tardy. Employees that do not work well with others, exhibit poor performance, or put the integrity of the company at risk are not dealt with properly by management or HR. The company does not utilize technology/software to increase efficiency of its systems or the accuracy of its technical analysis.

    Advice to Management

    Management needs to tap into the strengths and talents of its employees. Management also needs to abide by and follow through with its corporate quality management system.

    Pros

    Management was very friendly and the culture was very relaxed. They were also very flexible with hours and time off. The environment was relaxed, as management expected tasks to be completed on-time, but were never breathing down my back to get things completed.

    Cons

    The company could upgrade some of its propriatary tools, like their data management system. At times, it also seemed as though many processes could be completed more efficiently given tougher management.

    Advice to Management

    It would be beneficial for the management to measure the efficiency of its projects and emplyees.
