I worked at Safra Singapore full-time for more than a year

    Pros

30 days outpatient sick leave. Very generous just like the good old days. Good place for fresh grads to experience the harsher side of corporate worklife; a perfect place to learn how to deal and work with difficult people.

    Cons

Many senior management staff have no qualms confronting each other and quarrelling in front of junior staff. They adopt a military leadership style barking out instructions and scolding staff with and without reason. Apologies are unheard of even when they make mistakes or accuse you of something you didn't do. Suggestions are not welcomed. Management has the final say. Work processes are painfully manual and systems...

    Advice to Management

Stop barking. Instead, learn to listen and speak in a civilised manner. Many new staff bring with them years of working experience in other companies. Sharing their experiences/ideas/suggestions on how to work smarter, better and efficiently goes a very long way in Safra.

    I worked at Safra Singapore

    Pros

Pretty chill environment, able to listen to music during work

    Cons

The manager would sometimes micromanage and use harsh words on you. C'mon, I was only a high schooler at that time, of course there are somethings I do not know.

I worked at Safra Singapore part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Pay is good Have to OT sometimes but reasonable remuneration in hours

    Cons

PREV: Disregards prior agreement of work duration at their convenience. Got let off when they said there's not enough work despite previous agreement. Loose reasons only to benefit their money saving. I worked very fast and put a lot of initiative and attention to my work and response to colleagues, but said I was slow when daily, I finish my in good time and keep asking for more work constantly finishing multiple tasks...

    Advice to Management

Be professional in dealing with your reasoning's for firing employees at your convenience and at their expense. Don't beat around the bush and compare your employees openly to others. Basically, just be professional, because you absolutely haven't been.
