Pros

Working in top research and development in aeronautical engineering

Cons

-Location (Moissy-Cramayel) is absolutely awful, near several bad areas of Paris banlieue, it can get quite dangerous and commuting is an absolute nightmare -Compensation is sub-standard compared to any other nation, no growth opportunities, salary raises are always below inflation. If you are looking for financial stability and opportunities, this is definitely not the company (and not the country) -Very old-school way of doing business (counting hours, no remote work for many positions, TONS of bureaucracy) -Company is not willing to cover any work visa related costs, you are almost 100% on your own -No relocation package at all, you are on your own -HR is not helpful, and most of the time even rude

Pros

Many learning opportunities for troubleshooting different types of avian generator control units. Opportunities to work with a variety of engineering departments including production, test, quality, and industrialization. Occasional overtime opportunities.

Cons

High stress due to production deadlines, especially at the end of month. Miscommunications due to constant reprioritizing of needs. Difficult to move from short term (1 year+ only) contracts to full time positions.
