I've worked for multiple hospital organizations throughout Missouri and they're all with their own flaws. Saint Luke's does strive for diversity, open communication, and respect.
Cons
Physicians, like in many different hospital settings, still look down their noses at APPs; they claim you wouldn't be targeted by speaking with HR, but I disagree. There's friend circles in all the facilities that tend to partner together and have you feeling the odd one out. No tuition reimbursement for those of us already long graduated but still with student loans. Health insurance is something to be desired.

-low pay unless you’re an RN and up -management is toxic and sticks together, which makes it difficult to report anything -tells you not to come in with Covid or when sick but will get upset with you because it’s inconvenient for them and they have to find coverage -little to no appreciation/acknowledgment from management -“appreciation events” for employees by the CEO/upper management is generally just garbage unhealthy food -promoting people who kiss behinds and know people over people who are truly qualified and are the right fit -opportunities for advancement for some but not others
