    I have been working at SaleCycle full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    All about the people, really a great culture and an interested startup / scale-up to be working for! Lots of challenges, very different than big structures organisation, but plenty of opportunities too, speaking with digital / head of eCommerce on a daily basis, very interesting sector, etc. + flexible working hours, based in Manhattan, Unlimited Holidays, etc.

    Lack of processes in some areas, room for improvement like in any company

    Pros

    Honestly None- look at all the past reviews and you will see how this company actually treats there employees.

    Cons

    -They put half the team on a performance improvement plan and instill fear into you so that you hit your quota so you don't get fired. -Literally no training at all. They give you a script and say start calling. - Pay is horrible and there unlimited PTO is just a scam so they don't have to pay back the days you didn't use. -Every time you close a deal they "switch up" the commission structure so you lose a great deal...

    Get some morals and ethics back into your life. Stop treating your employees like cattle and you might actually see some progress in your company.

    Pros

    There are many great people at the company (although less year by year) who are passionate about what they do and a great resource to learn from. The benefits are good and, if you negotiate well, the pay can be above market value. Work life balance is achievable with flex hours and unlimited PTO. They have a tendency to not hire the best folks (at least in the US) so many will complain about being trapped but if you work...

    Product hasn't evolved very much and market is super saturated. This doesn't put sales in a great position to begin with but management's rigid adherence to short term objectives makes things much worse. A great example is the insistence on pushing deals through on the last day of the month even though they don't get paid until the campaign goes live. Can't tell you how many bridges were burned, unnecessary price cuts...

    Advice to Management

    Everyone likes to point the fingers at sales but it's management that has failed to ever create an environment where people can thrive. There's been less than 5 "successful" reps since they opened the original US office years ago. They've easily fired 10-15 times that many. Possibly more.
