    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

The 401k matching and company stock purchase plans make it possible to save for retirement without much effort. It's also a great place to get experience in customer service and dealing with rapid fire problems.

    Cons

The hourly wage is OK at best, especially for the job requirements. It's especially noticeable when moving up the food chain. Making less than a dollar an hour more as a supervisor than as a cashier, especially with all the extra responsibilities and yelling from Corporate, just isn't worth it.

    Advice to Management

It would be nice if the corporate leadership would demonstrate showing that they knoew what they're requiring us to do at the ground level. Even just posting a video on the Wire or mywalmart.com showing them actually selling membership upgrade, or transferring a toilet from one flatbed to another (I wish I was joking) would encourage us that they at least have some idea of what their policies actually require.

    Pros

At Sam's Club, there are lots of advancement opportunities. Their schedules are flexible and they have a very competitive starting pay for that industry.

    Cons

Working weekends are a must when working at Sam's and the insurance package is not what once would expect, working at such a large company.

    Advice to Management

To advance, go above and beyond the call of duty. Just doing the minimum will only get you a paycheck. To get promotions, they have to see you as a leader.
